FUEL Token
FUEL is the native utility token of FuelCraft, used for crafting, upgrades, movement, and marketplace transactions.
What is FUEL
FUEL is an ERC-20 token on the Base network. It serves as the primary currency within FuelCraft and is required for most in-game actions. FUEL has a deflationary design — tokens are burned with every transaction, steadily reducing the total supply.
Pricing
FUEL is dollar-pegged using a 4-hour Time-Weighted Average Price (TWAP). This means in-game costs denominated in dollars are converted to FUEL using the average price over the last 4 hours, smoothing out short-term volatility.
How FUEL is Used
FUEL is consumed across multiple game systems:
- Crafting — Most recipes require FUEL in addition to base resources.
- Upgrades — Each building upgrade level costs an increasing amount of FUEL.
- Movement — Moving your city on the world map costs FUEL per step.
- Marketplace — Listing and purchasing items on the marketplace uses FUEL.
Burn Mechanics
FUEL spent in-game is burned (permanently removed from circulation). This includes crafting costs, upgrade costs, movement fees, and a portion of marketplace fees. The burn mechanic creates consistent deflationary pressure as the game grows.
